March 28, 1881 - Hatheway & Reynolds Store, the T.H. Walter & Sons Boots and Shoes and the residence of Charles Evens, All burned, another house barn and saloon caught fire but were saved with the help of Clinton Fire Department.
January 22, 1892 - The Oriskany Falls School burned. Help from Waterville with hose, saved house next door.
April 22, 1895 - H.A. Langley's Columbia Yarn Mill.
July, 1892 - E.B. Woolworth & Co. Mill
1896 - Block fire downtown, the most prominet portion of the business district, destroyed by fire. This included five different stores with multiple businesses also damaged but the Cross Opera House and the Sergent's House were saved.
March 13, 1901 - Fire sweeps downtown burning The Sergent's House, Cross Opera House, The Bardrof building, the Barber Shop, W.W. Oliver Meat Market and the Lawless Hardware Store.
1910 - Hatheway and Reynolds Mill No. 4 burns to ground, a 50 x 216 3-story building ($50,000 loss).
June 11, 1917 - Flood killed 2 people and damaged was estimated at $250.000.
1947 - Large house on Madison Street burned, firefighters fought flames for 5 hours to keep houses next door safe.
November 9, 1949 - Woman dies from injuries in fire at her home.
July 25, 1950 - Shaw Stone Mill, 3rd story of building, caught fire, Firefighters make great save of the building.
July 10, 1951 - Double barn fire kills 14 year lod boy.
